Realme 7i sports a waterdrop-style notch on the front display, offering a screen to body ratio of 88.7%. The smartphone will also come with face unlock feature. Notably, the company claims that the smartphone's AI portrait mode, portrait lighting, and pro mode will be available to users. Besides, it comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and support for a microSD card with upto 256GB storage space.

The Realme 7i runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 Oreo, and sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (720×1520 pixels) LCD panel with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, coupled with an Adreno 506 GPU and 2GB and 3GB RAM options. The smartphone has an inbuilt storage of 32GB that is expandable via microSD card (up to 256GB).
In the camera department, the Realme 7i sports a dual rear camera setup that includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor along with an f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor along with an f/2.4 aperture. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor that has an f/2.2 aperture and supports Face Unlock. It comes with LED flash and features such as AI portrait mode, AI scene detection, and AI beautification.
Connectivity options on the device include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS/ A-GPS, GLONASS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors on board include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, electronic compass, gyroscope, infrared, and proximity sensor. The Realme 7i is powered by a 3,400mAh battery and measures 157x73.3x8.1mm.
Price and availability
The Realme 7i was launched in China with a price tag of CNY 999 (roughly Rs. 10,600) for the 2GB RAM/ 16GB inbuilt storage variant, and CNY 1,299 (roughly Rs. 14,500) for the 3GB RAM/ 32GB inbuilt storage model.

The latest smartphone from Realme is also likely to join the premium price bracket, though it will be cheaper than the Oppo R17 Pro that has been launched in India at Rs 45,990. Realme 6 has already been spotted on official website with the tagline 'Arrive aspires'. The handset will be exclusively available through Flipkart and go on sale starting November 28, Tuesday.
The Realme 6 has been leaked previously with images revealing the design and a 3.5mm audio jack at the top. The smartphone will feature a waterdrop notch design with a 6.3-inch HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen will have a notch on top with a 16-megapixel selfie camera and a 24-megapixel main camera with support for AI features. The notch will also have a light-sensitive strip with the time, weather, and battery percentage, along with an option for selfie or emergency blinking.
The back of the Realme 6 will have dual cameras with a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. On the front, it will have a 5-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calling. The Realme 6 will run on Android 8.1 Oreo with ColorOS 5.2 skin on top and will be powered by the Snapdragon 450 processor. It will come in three RAM and storage variants – 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, and 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
About the design, the Realme 6 seems to have a glass back, with gradient effect, though it does not seem to feature the waterdrop notch. Realme has not revealed the price of the smartphone yet.
Meanwhile, Oppo has launched its flagship smartphone the R17 Pro on Tuesday. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 45,990 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant. The phone will be made available exclusively via Amazon India from November 28.
