Xiaomi Poco F1's mouth-watering price makes it a strong competitor to OnePlus 6T and Vivo V11 Pro. Xiaomi Poco F1's mouth-watering price makes it a strong competitor to OnePlus 6T and Vivo V11 Pro.
Xiaomi Poco F1 will compete with OnePlus 6T, Vivo V11 Pro, Oppo F9, Vivo V11 and Realme 1 when it launches in India on November 5. But the Poco F1 is a relatively new device, and it doesn't face a stiff competition. It has two very good alternatives in its stable – the OnePlus 6T and the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 (Review) – both of which are priced significantly lower. Which phone do you think will be better, and why? Here's our review of the Xiaomi Poco F1.

Xiaomi Poco C3: Design, Display
Xiaomi Poco C3 is a strikingly beautiful phone. It's another from Xiaomi's 'Arts and Crafts' line, and it comes with a notch, bezel-less display, and fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. Poco F1 sports a glass back with a gradient finish, giving the phone a classy look. You can also customize the back cover as per your liking.
We were very impressed by the metal finish on the phone, and it is very smooth, with no grip marks. Poco F1 also has a long lasting battery, as the back cover doesn't touch the display. That's also something we are not used to in most of the 2018 flagship phones. The phone is a little on the heavy side at 197 grams, but it is worth the extra weight as it looks really good and performs great.
The back cover is actually a stylized version of the Poco logo, which is embossed on the back. We really like the back design on the phone, but we did find it a little slippery, especially when we had it in our sweaty palms. This is a good thing, and we are hoping this is because it's been through rigorous testing and that we will have the same experience in the real world.
The Poco F1 has a glossy back with a gradient effect, which gives it a really nice touch. But the back cover is slippery at the back, and we're not quite sure how well the phone will hold it. There are actually two camera sensors on the back with a LED flash and the 'Poco' logo, and that protrudes a bit. We will discuss this in detail when we get the review unit.

Xiaomi Poco F1 has a curved glass on the front with a 2.5D curved glass. The display is a Full HD+ IPS LCD panel, and we can't praise the quality of the display enough. Viewing angles are good, and we did not have any issues with the colours coming off in patches. We were also impressed by the deep blacks offered by the display.
